スーパー台風22号ですが、台湾が微妙になってきました。
ECMWFモデルでは、台風22号は台湾の南を通過し、避けられる見通しですが、GFSモデルでは、未だ直撃コースです。
リーワード諸島を急襲するハリケーンはヘレン、あるいはヘレネではなく、ハリケーン・アイザックのようです。
画像の「S」は、トロピカル・ストームであり、「H」はハリケーンです。
やはりリーワード諸島とウィンドワード諸島を直撃しそうですが、ハリケーンのカテゴリーは「1」か「2」で直撃のようです。
強制退避させられたバーブーダ島の人たちに再びハリケーンが襲います。
ハワイのハリケーン・オリビアも直撃は避けられそうにありません。
こちらはハリケーンから勢力を落とし、トロピカル・ストームで直撃です。
問題のハリケーン・フローレンスですが、かなり強大なハリケーンで本土に上陸するようです。
月曜日に「H」のハリケーンのまま西進し、勢力を巨大化させながら、カテゴリー「3」以上のハリケーンに発達する予想です。
画像の「M」というのは、メジャー・ハリケーンの「M」であり、メジャー・ハリケーンというのは、最低でもカテゴリー「3」以上のハリケーンを指します。
風速で言えば「49.6m/秒以上」のハリケーンです。
日本で言えば「非常に強い台風」に該当します。
ノース・サウス両カロライナに上陸する時点で「Ｍ」となっており、カテゴリー「3」以上で上陸するという予想です。
また大変な洪水が起こりそうですね。
